Our Tow-A-Frame system combines the SmartBox Duo electronic power braking system with our unique, lightweight Auto-Align A-Frame, transforming your towed vehicle into a power-braked trailer.

 

The Tow-A-Frame Advantage

 

We’re proud to offer Europe’s only dual-sensing, power-assisted braking system. This system maintains a vacuum level in the towed vehicle’s brakes, providing enhanced braking capacity, as required by law. Our dual-sensing system ensures that the towed vehicle only brakes when necessary, allowing both vehicles to brake independently but in tandem. The Incar G-Force sensor measures deceleration and inertia, activating the braking of the towed vehicle accordingly.

 

Our A-Frames

•Lightweight & Compact: The lightest A-frame available in the UK, weighing just 9.5kg, and folding down to only 80cm for easy storage in your boot.

•Easy Hitching: Our Auto-Align design makes hitching effortless.

•No Structural Modifications: Our system connects to the manufacturer’s original crash beam, preserving the vehicle’s crash characteristics. No structural changes are made to the pedestrian impact area, so the vehicle’s front remains as standard when not towing.

•Pozi-Lock Pins: These easy-to-use pins lock in place with a simple push and turn, making the connection process quick and secure.

•Patented Wedgit: Our patented widget allows one person to easily connect the A-frame, even on a hill. Weighing just 50 grams and easily fitting in your pocket, the wedgit enables you to lock the A-frame in either a horizontal or vertical position. In the upright position, it allows for safe manoeuvring of the vehicle with the A-frame still attached, OR horizontally locked you can drive up to the rear of the towing vehicle to connect making the connection process even simpler.
