Intelligent proportional braking

TowGlide uses a dual-sensing electronic braking system, combining the motorhome brake-light signal with G-sensor deceleration sensing.

The system then applies smooth, progressive proportional braking to the tow car through a vacuum-assisted pneumatic actuator, without relying on a heavy overrun coupling.

Where vehicle design permits, our installations are engineered to retain the vehicle’s original crash beam and designed crumple-zone structure.
