Tow-A-Frame not only design and manufacture our lightweight electronic braked A-Frame systems — we also supply and fit towbars for motorhomes and campervans.
Please note: Motorhomes registered after April 2012 must, by law, be fitted with EC Type Approved towbars, specified for use with your make and model of vehicle.

We fit top-quality towbars with vehicle-specific electrical kits from leading UK and European manufacturers including Tow-Trust, AL-KO, Witter, SMV, and Memo (Netherlands).
These precision-engineered products are designed to fit AL-KO chassis motorhomes and those with chassis extensions. They are suitable for popular motorhome brands such as Autotrail, Bailey, Elddis, Swift, Rapido, Roller Team, Tribute, and Hymer, among many others.
For older vehicles, we can also supply and fit fabricated, non-approved towbars for motorhomes registered before April 2012.
Most installations typically involve chassis extensions, the rear towbar and towball assembly, and a vehicle-specific wiring kit, ensuring a strong, compliant, and reliable fit.
Vehicle-Specific Electrics
When fitting a vehicle-specific electric kit, if you are only towing an A-frame or trailer we normally install a 13-pin socket wired for 8 pins.
If you require a fully wired 13-pin setup, please let us know your requirements, as costs differ. We are happy to quote for either option.
Quoting for a Towbar
To provide an accurate quotation, we will usually need:
An image of the second or third stage chassis plate (e.g. Fiat base vehicle with an Adria Supersonic body, which will also have a plate from Adria showing the plated towing weight).
Photos of the underside of the motorhome, so we can confirm whether it is standard or fitted with air suspension, chassis extensions, or other modifications.
